3. Release Dates April 12, 2010: 2009 – 2010 Summer and Extended Year Collections open. EDIT+ will be down starting April 7, 2010 at 5:00 PM and will reopen April 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM. Final Release Letter will be available on April 12, 2010 at www.tea.state.tx.us/peims/editplus. www.tea.state.tx.us/peims/editplus

4. Collection Reminders File Transfers and Reports Extremely high volume of file transfers and generated reports during final week of submission. Please DO NOT wait until the final week to submit your files or generate reports.

5. Collection Reminders Approved Auto-Generated Reports District-level reports not generated prior to rollup will be auto-generated by the system. Users will notice EditPlus Admin(TEA) in the Run By column for any auto- generated reports.

6. Archive Reminders EDIT+ Archive Policy District final submission files are accessible online for 3 years (current and 2 prior) before being archived to tape. To retrieve an archived file, email EDIT+ Customer Support o Include District Number, Collection, School year

7. Archive Reminders EDIT+ Archive Policy District-level reports : available online for 5 years (current and prior 4). Reports are not archived to tape. Campus-level reports : available online for 3 years only (current and prior 2).

8. Archive Reminders Archive Retrieval 2007 – 2008 Collections will be archived on September 1, 2010. Only district reports are available in archived collections. Desired campus reports should be run, printed, and downloaded prior to September 1, 2010.

9. Functionality & Reporting Changes EDIT+ has implemented the file naming convention that identifies a 4-digit school year. The 4-digit year will display on all EDIT+ reports and all EDIT+ screens that display a file name.

24. PID Enrollment Tracking (PET) 2009 – 2010 School Year PET system will allow transfer of PET files using data element E0005 Ethnicity through 8/31/2010. 2010 – 2011 School Year and Beyond PET system will require the new ethnicity and race data elements beginning 6/1/2010.
