10 DIRECTIONAL TERMS (to give relation of one body part to another) 1. SUPERIOR Toward the head end; above 2. INFERIOR Away from the head end; below

12 5. MEDIAL Toward the middle of the body 6. LATERAL Away from the middle

16 ASSIGNMENT: Body Directions 1. Write down the direction name and definition. 2. Write 2 complete sentences for the direction using COMMON names for body parts. 3. Write 2 complete sentences for direction using ANATOMICAL NAMES 4. DON NOT have to do 9and 10 *MAY not use any of the same names used it #2 *No writing opposites for the next direction. Think of new parts to use.
