2. Prices The prices of Hip Hop magazines seem to range between £2-£3 depending on the popularity of the magazine and the particular issue. For example Rolling Stones magazines can cost up to £7 depending on the issue such as when the Arctic Monkeys featured in Rolling Stones the price of the magazine was £5.50 whereas when a normal issue is released each month it costs £4.

3. Frequency of Publication My hip hop magazine will be published weekly. The reasoning for me publishing it weekly is because to start with it will not be a massively popular magazine so I need to ensure profit is being made therefore by selling it weekly I can ensure I get at least some sort of profit whereas magazines that are very popular are the ones which get published monthly for example Rolling stones.

4. Average Issue Size My average issue size for my magazine is going to be 50 pages long. I do not want it to be extremely long as I don't want the readers to become bored and miss out on information that will be included in my magazine.

5. Regular Content The regular content of my hip hop magazine will be 1 main interview with a hip hop icon, awards, special releases, history and more. The section about awards will be about awards my magazine has won, awards that hip hop icons have won for different things. Additionally, the section on history may speak about the hip hop star from the past Tupac and his life on a double page spread.
