2 Curling….. Men and women can compete on the same team. You are 4 players on each team There is a Skip, a viceskip, a number 2 and a number 3. Each team have four stones. One player throw a stone and the others clean with the brooms. Your team have to get as many stones in the cirkels as possible You will need some speciel kind of shoes to Curling

3 What you need to go curling? The curling shoes: The slider shoe (center), with its thin Teflon surface, is worn during delivery to slide on the ice; a slip-on gripper (left) is worn over the slider at other times; the other shoe (right) has a rough surface to give traction on the ice The curling broom is used to sweep the ice surface in front of the rock. The Curling stone is a rock made out of granite.

4 The field There are 4 players on the field The field is white and made of ice There is a circle in each end of the field. In the circle there are 4 rings; the first ring is red and the second is white and third is blue and in the center of the circle there is a white spot. There is a place to start, where you put your feet to push off.

5 Curling field On the picture above you can see half a curling field, with the place to start at the end. On the left you can see the hack. Players must push out of the hack to deliver their stones. Which foot they use is determined by whether they are left- or right-handed. This picture above is from an international turnament
