2 1 Contents oIntroduction oA Brief on NCA oDescription of KRM Project in Korea oConclusions and proposals

3 National Computerization Agency2 Introduction oThe world is underway a paradigmatic change from the Industrial Age to the Information and Knowledge Age - In response, a number of countries have been investing in ‘knowledge and information management’ or ‘e-government’ projects. - Now sharing knowledge and information among agencies within government and between government and private and non-profit organizations has been a crucial issue. oIn Korea, the issue has been emphasized since the early 1990 - Korean government issued ‘Cyber Korea 21’ as a blueprint for Knowledge- based information nation. - Furthermore, President Kim unveiled a nation-wide plan to change the quality, nature, and flow of knowledge and information in his New Year’s Message.
