6 With your group, talk about: What are the requirements to be a civilization?

7 Now let's apply your new definition to current Bedouins. What do you know about how Bedouins live today in Jordan? Does this make them a civilization or not a civilization? Think about how Bedouins in Jordan Lived 200 years ago.

8 After you finish discussing with your group, we will discuss it as a class. Next question to talk about with your group: Are there any drawbacks or disadvantages to being 'civilized'? What might be some examples that relate to the Bedouin?
