User Summit – Oct. 22 nd – 24 th 2014 Testing and Assessment The development process is all about making models and then testing to see if these models perform the intended purpose. Instructors require a testing ecosystem which provides rapid feedback on comprehension to determine whether innovations are working. Students should know at all times their strengths and areas for improvement and be directed to relevant course materials. Testing can now be deeply embedded within the educational process allowing continuous assessment by both student and instructor

User Summit – Oct. 22 nd – 24 th 2014 It is possible for a combination of online tools, creatively coupled with direct instruction and interaction, to provide ‘better’ education No single ‘silver bullet’. No one thing … or one method Adaptable, flexible, easy to use tools which encourage experimentation are required. Digital testing must allow for equal flexibility as its pen and paper equivalent UX – User Experience is key for both student and instructor The testing and assessment educational ecosystem will be central to continuous improvement by measuring and evaluating education methods and effectiveness What We Believe
