5. Project Background 192,000 people with a disability or debilitating illness in Berkshire (c.20% of Berkshire population) Disabled people half as likely to participate in sport than non-disabled Knowledge of opportunities for disabled sport is poor

6. Objectives & Targets Increase disabled participation in sport –150 new athletes per year Develop disabled pathways into more sports –20 sports across 3 years Increase number of disability aware coaches –50 trained per annum Implement Advice Service –Face to face, email / phone & social media
