You are encouraged to contribute, but it is your choice. 2)We will all strive to make sure everyone feels included and has an opportunity to speak. 3)We will start on time, end on time and come back from breaks on time. 4)We will seek to encourage each other, to give support and praise for contributions and to ask questions. 5)We will have partnering interactions. We all agree to come back to the group when the signal is given. Ground Rules

22 In addition to physical safety, learners will respond better to new learning activities if they feel emotionally safe to fully participate, to speak out, to take risks if needed. What you can do: Share ground rules at beginning (“I won’t call on you”) Affirm responses (“Thank you for sharing”) Reveal your own errors Safety
