Department of Finance in the regions  Works Procurement o Maintenance of government buildings; o Minor Works; o Capital projects; and o Advice, planning and knowledge sharing  Goods and Services Procurement o Purchasing over 50k on behalf of agencies; o Group Buying Arrangements; and o Advice, planning and knowledge sharing

3 Department of Finance Southern Region Our Clients o All State Government agencies apart from Government Trading Enterprises such as: –Ports; –Western Power; –Water Corporation; and –Public Transport Authority (PTA) (rail, buses) etc Agencies with special responsibilities such as –Main Roads; (only for roads) –Department of Transport; (only for marinas) and –LandCorp (industrial sites and land development)

4 Department of Finance Southern Region How Agencies Purchase  Works Via our Service Alliance or Low Value Maintenance Panel – (LVMP) Contract directly with Finance; and Tenders and quotes for work  Goods and Services Common Use Arrangements; Appropriate sourcing method, verbal or written quotes under 50k; Written quotes over 50K*; and Open tenders over 250K* * Department of Finance Procurement Officer must be involved in these processes
