When renaming worksheets, you may use up to 31 characters. Right-click sheet tab to display shortcut menu. Active worksheet indicated by highlighted tab

To change tab colors, on the Page Layout tab, in the Themes group, change the Colors to Metro.

When a sheet is active, tab color displays only along the lower edge of the tab. Sheet tabs have been renamed and colored.

Cell shows short version of date; Formula Bar shows full date. The way the date displays is based on the selected format. Excel assigns a serial value—a number—to the date you enter, making it possible to perform calculations on dates.

Summary tab has been inserted, renamed, and colored. By default Excel provides three worksheets in all new workbooks. Click Insert and then click Insert Sheet to insert new worksheet in front of active worksheet. Until renamed, new worksheets display with the name SheetX where X is a number that changes.

Number format from Jacksonville sheet is carried over. Summary sheet A worksheet that displays and summarizes totals from other worksheets in a workbook. Changes made to other sheets in a workbook are called detail sheets because they contain the detailed information. Formula references cell B10 in Jacksonville worksheet and brings that data into this worksheet.
