Global Warming Greenhouse effect

What’s the global warming Global warming is the continuing rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Global warming is caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, resulting from human activities such as deforestation and burning of fossil fuels. Global warming is the consequence of industry. The results of greenhouse effect observed around the world are droughts, powerful hurricanes, very big floods and fires.

What’ s the greenhouse effect? The greenhouse effect is when the temperature rises because the sun’s heat and light is trapped in the earth’s atmosphere. As a result, the temperature rises.

Greenhouse effect diagram

The greenhouse effect is a process by which absorption and emission of infrared radiation by gases in the atmosphere warms a planet's lower atmosphere and surface.

2000 Year Temperature Comparison This image is a temperature of 2000 years. In this picture we’re see how temperature changes. In 2000 temperature has got a 0,4 deegres.

Global temperature in years 1880 - 2000 In 1880 temperature averaged from – 2 to – 4 degrees. Next years the temperature is higher than in 1880. In 2000 was averaged 6 degrees Celsius.

CO 2 in years 1990 - 2010 From year to year CO 2 emmision increases.

Destructive hurricanes Hurricane Katrina of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season was the costliest natural disaster, as well as one of the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. Among recorded Atlantic hurricanes, it was the sixth strongest overall. At least 1,836 people died in the actual hurricane and in the subsequent floods, making it the deadliest in U.S. 2005 Atlantic hurricane seasoncostliestdeadliesthurricaneshistory of the United StatesAtlantic hurricanes sixth strongest overall2005 Atlantic hurricane seasoncostliestdeadliesthurricaneshistory of the United StatesAtlantic hurricanes sixth strongest overall

Tornadoes Tornado is a dangerous, rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. They are often referred to as a twister or a cyclone, although the word cyclone is used in meteorology in a wider sense, to name any closed low pressure circulation.

Dangerous hail Hail is a form of solid precipitation which consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice, that are individually called hail stones.

Super volcano Super volcano is the most destructve volcano which can kill the humans, plants and animals. Experts say the last eruption of a super volcano was 75,000 years ago in Toba, Indonesia. Plants and animals died under 35 centimeters of ash. Ash from volcano blocked the sun. There is another super volcano i Yellowstone National Park in the USA. Yellowstone super volcano will erupt soon. This will be catastrophe for the planet and for man.

Monster waves Rogue waves (also known as freak waves, monster waves, killer waves, extreme waves, and abnormal waves) are relatively large and spontaneous ocean surface waves that occur far out in sea, and are a threat even to large ships and ocean liners. ocean surface wavesocean linersocean surface wavesocean liners

Melting glaciers Meltwater is the water released by the melting of snow or ice, including glacial ice and ice shelfs over oceans. Meltwater is often found in the ablation zone of glaciers, where the rate of snow cover is reducing. Meltwater can be produced during volcanic eruptions, in a similar way in which the more dangerous lahars form. melting snowiceglacial ice shelfsablation zonevolcanic eruptionslaharsmelting snowiceglacial ice shelfsablation zonevolcanic eruptionslahars

We can stop it!! Don’t use aerosols because they produce freon. If majority of us reduce freons using, the ozone hole will not enlarge and the glaciers will not melt

The minimal annual number of ozone over Antarctica

If we don’t want our rivers, seas and oceans look like this we must start thinking green.

Tornado in Poland We have observed changes of climate in Poland beacause of increasing number of weather We have observed changes of climate in Poland beacause of increasing number of weatheranomalies.
