4. Let’s Start With Classes You will have 6 teachers, but you will see 5 teachers each day. (We’ll talk about that when we go over the electives.) This means you will have to change classrooms.

5. Hmmm... should I get locker? Get a Locker Don’t Get a Locker safe place to put your stuff prevents back pain helps keep backpack or book bag organized difficult for some students to open might forget something for class might be late for class might not have time to go to locker AND the bathroom

6. Things You Should Know About the Cafeteria. Or Should You? lunch time is about 35 minutes there are 3 different lunch times (A, B, C ) there are many items to choose from on the menu set up an account so you don’t need money every day

7. Things You Should Know About the Cafeteria you can hang out with friends in the courtyard when you’re done eating French fries, cookies, and pizza are recommended lines are long, so pack a lunch if you eat slowly

Dressing to Impress Okay Not Okay modest & clean wear regular shoes at all times clothes need to cover you up funky hairstyles clothing that advertises illegal substances or inappropriate images hats, visors, bandanas, hairnets Hey Ladies! No too short shorts or skirts or razor backs! Gentlemen! Pull up your pants – no sagging and no tank tops!

Where Am I Going?  try to pick up your schedule before the school year begins – go to Bulldog Day on July 18  walk around the campus to find your classes before the first day of school  ask a teacher – we’re here to help You should be able to find your way around the school after the first week!

13. When Are We Going to Have Some Fun? In junior high school, you will have electives!  one of the most helpful electives is Strategies this is a class where you can get extra assistance for assignments you will also get extra help with math, reading, or organization
