2 Introduction to Reed In Partnership Our History In 1998, we were the first private company to deliver part of the Government's New Deal programme and since then Reed in Partnership has worked with 7,500 employers to help 80,000 people make the transition from welfare to work. During the past decade, we have worked with over 159,000 of the hardest to help customers in the most deprived areas of Britain, including over 3,000 claiming incapacity benefits.
