2 The results of the COMPASS Diagnostic Assessment Tool provides important information to help case managers, flexible learning providers and schools to work in partnership to develop appropriate learning plans for students, allowing them to develop the necessary literacy and numeracy skills to actively participate in modern society. 10 10 The DATA we (ICAN) will collect from Compass Testing of students needs to be kept separate from any trials and accreditation usage. Therefore: Any generation of login’s for specific trial’s, Workshop training or accreditation of facilitators needs to be done with one specific number: 80223489 Once you have requested logins they will be sent via ACER to Thea Morgan thea.morgan@sa.gov.au and she will disseminate these back to appropriate requesting regional ASO2’s for distribution.

12 To support the development of the young person, it is in the best interests of all if the student is permitted to complete the test without assistance. To prepare the student by: clarifying the importance of the test for growth and success explain the format 30 questions, multiple choice, visual cues and information, no tricks can come in and out* If students want to stop, work with them to examine why and try to support continued motivation Friday, October 02, 2015 12
