LED PUBLIC LIGHTING_1 Torraca is the world’s first town entirely illuminated with LED (Light-Emitting Diodes) streetlights (streets to access the town + old town centre) 700 lighting spots high energy efficiency technology of 80 LPW-lumens per Watt patented and installed by Elettronica Gelbison, a local start-up company specialised in electronic systems minimum environmental impact Forecast saving = 22.000 €/year also due to low maintenance requirements 2-Oct-15 4

ECO-FRIENDLY SWIMMING POOL RETROFITTING PROJECT Solar technology installed (25sm) 50% less evaporation consumption thanks to a new patented system of isothermic cover for swimming pool. 50 Kw PV panels + indoor & outdoor LED lighting system.
