6 1.Using 4 Styrofoam balls, create Earth models by coloring the northern hemisphere blue and the southern hemisphere green. 2.Use toothpicks to model where the north and south poles are. 3.Using a black marker, draw the Equator. Seasons Hats V: 2

7 1.Cut out a circle in the center of the foam board. 2.Place the 4 Earth models around the circle to represent the four seasons on Earth. (Make sure the Earth is tilted in the same direction for each model) 3.Make “Sun Hats”. 4.Practice identifying the seasons using the new “Season Hats”. Seasons Hats V: 2

Turn counter clockwise to model the rotation of the Earth and the Moon. Stop at each of the 8 positions and say out loud the name of the lunar phase.
