Audience outcomes: – Think: I have learned many lessons as a small business owner or business executive. People in my community may benefit from my knowledge – Feel: Caring professionalism. – Do: Find my local chapter and become a SCORE Volunteer

8 H OW Y OU C AN H ELP G ET THE W ORD O UT 1.Use your contacts with friends, colleagues and community partners (such as Chambers) to determine the most receptive contacts at local television and radio stations (They have universal appeal – Bach to Rock). 2.Choose a chapter spokesperson; someone with a great personality and speaking voice, then ask your TV and/or radio contact if your spokesperson can answer any questions in person or on the phone. 3.Forward your contact information to the Chapter Marketing Chair/Brand Champion to include in our mailing follow-up 4.When you do have the right contacts, be sure to focus on SCORE’s benefit to the community by creating and nurturing local commerce. SCORE Statistics about small business ownership etc. may come in handy when talking about SCORE’s successes.
