Overview “Students choosing AP English Literature and Composition should be interested in studying literature of various periods and genres and using this wide reading knowledge in discussions of literary topics” Focus on: the experience of literature, the interpretation of literature and the evaluation of literature
Basic Objectives Identify Literary devices and explain how they create meaning in a particular text Develop a sophisticated writing and reading styles. Become familiar with literary theory and movements.
