Student Led Conferences I will be sending a sign up genius for May 8,13, and 15 th. Some of the available times will be during the school day and some will be after school. Your child will be leading this conference, NOT me. This will be a time to reflect on everything your child has learned this year and things to practice on during the summer. Field Trip The field trip is to Elachee Nature Science Center on May 4th! This is a time we learn about plants and nature preserve. We have room for ONLY 3 CHAPERONES. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in going with us. Just a heads up that this field trip requires a good bit of walking and some hiking. It’s $16 per student and $5 per adult. Please have your money in by April 29 th. Student will be studying about goods and services. Then they will come up with a “business plan” to make and sell tissue flowers. The first grade sells them for 25 cents and we donate the money to a charity of the students’ choice. We sell out EVERY year because most students by them for mothers day. Please send in tissue paper. I have already purchased some but we will need a lot! All different colors and designs are welcome.
