Standley Seven Commandments

All Children Must Follow Given Dress Code in Planners. When the students are given the rules for what they can and cannot wear on a piece of paper in front of them they must follow it. Any clothes that are revealing, drug/alcohol/gang related will not be tolerated at school. If they have any questions they can ask me. This covers the dress code policy.

All students must be at school and present unless parent or guardian calls to notify the school of their absence. If a student is absent, the parents or guardian should call the school and let the school know of their child’s absence, so the said student is not marked truant. When students are absent, the school looses money. This rule covers the attendance section. If said student leaves school early then it’s considered truancy and precautions will have to be taken.

All students must follow the given honesty policy in planners. No student should ever cheat, copy, or plagiarize on assignments, homework, tests or projects. No theft of other people’s materials, ideas, assignments or any other things. After the second absence on an announced quiz or test day in the same month then it’s considered test avoidance. Sadly, actions will have to be taken. This covers the honesty policy.

Any Kind of Bullying at school will not be accepted. If any students are being bullied they should tell an adult. That way the situation can be handled. Cyber bulling, physical bullying, mental bullying. Also, verbal bullying, birthday bashing, milking, table topping, or any other kind of bullying will not be tolerated. This is part of the bullying policy.

Any Kind of Violence Will not be tolerated at school. If any students are hurt by another person is any physical way then it’s violence. If it’s violence, then the person who did the hurting will have consequences. The punishment is made based on the action. There can be punishments that are as serious as expulsion. This covers the violence policy.

All people attending Extended Learning Opportunities must have good academic and citizenship grades. All the students participating these activities must have a 2.5 or higher. Also must not have any N’s or U’s. If these are a factor then the student will not be allowed on trip. This covers the Extended learning opportunities policy.

All given grades must be approved and signed by parent or guardian If a teacher gives a grade to a student, the student must show it to parent or guardian. Once the parent or guardian has seen it they must sign it. After it’s been signed it needs to be turned in to said teacher. This covers the grading policy.
