กสทช. เผยผลการสำรวจคนไทยใช้งานมือถือสูงถึง 93.5% เล่นอินเตอร์เน็ตบนโมบายล์เพิ่มขึ้นในรอบ 2 ปีเกือบเท่าตัว โดยเติบโตสูงขึ้น 31.9% จาก 18.4%
ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์วิจัยกสิกรไทย ประเมินว่า ในปี 2556 ที่ผ่านมา ผู้บริโภคไทยใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตผ่านอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่ประมาณ 16.2 ล้านคน ซึ่งคิดเป็นสัดส่วนไม่ต่ำกว่าร้อยละ 62.0 ของผู้ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตทั้งหมดของไทย และคาดว่าจะมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ผลสำรวจล่าสุดของสำนักงานพัฒนาธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ สพธอ. ภายใต้กระทรวงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสาร หรือ ไอซีที พบว่าปัจจุบันคนไทยใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตเฉลี่ยสัปดาห์ละ 32 ชั่วโมง หรือเฉลี่ยวันละ 4.6 ชั่วโมง เพิ่มขึ้นจาก 12 ปี ที่แล้วถึง 76%ผลสำรวจยังพบว่า คนไทยท่องโลกอินเทอร์เน็ต ผ่านอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่ อย่างสมาร์ทโฟนมากที่สุดถึง 69.5% รองลงมาคือ โน้ตบุ๊ก 67.9% และแท็บเลต 35.3% เพียงเท่านี้ก็พิสูจน์ได้แล้วว่า คนไทยติดเน็ต ติดแอพมากแค่ไหน!!
