What is marketing? Marketing is the management process that identifies, anticipates and satisfies customer requirements profitably. Marketing focuses on the satisfaction of customer needs, wants and requirements. Future needs have to be identified and anticipated.

Objective Of Marketing. The objective of any marketing is creating new customers or sustain existing customer. It is a mission to create awareness of a company, services or products to the mass market by using various marketing techniques.

What is Traditional Marketing? Traditional Marketing is a common marketing method, it emphasize mainly on the ‘Four Ps’ principles, which refers to the four factors that a marketer has to consider before launching a product or offering a service. It comprises of Product, Price, Promotion and Place.

4ps of Marketing Product: product or service offer by the company. Price: the price that a intended customer willing to pay. Promotion: promoting the company, products or services, includes advertising, branding, etc. This is the most import P to focus on. Place: the process by which the product or service reaches the customer.

Traditional Marketing require a substantial time and budget to get the desired result. For it to be successful it requires constant advertising for months and it also requires a high budget, depending on the type of media the marketer is using. The following are a various media for marketing; TV and Radio Newspaper, Magazines, Posters and Billboards Mailers or Flyers

Moving from traditional towards emarketing More companies are moving away from traditional marketing towards Internet marketing. During the 1990’s Mass Communications dominated the market. Advertisers focused on delivering one message to a mass audience through various mediums like television, radio, and print. Now companies are shifting money from traditional marketing to Internet marketing because Internet marketing is a more effective way to show proven results.

Why Internet Marketing Now? Traditional Marketing Tactics Becoming Less Effective Just to get our points clear, traditional marketing refers to things like newspaper and television ads, yellow pages ads, billboards, etc. I don’t think these things are dead by any means. I still relish reading many Technology related magazines for example, but I do think that Internet marketing is much more effective at much lower cost.

What is Internet Marketing? Internet marketing (also known as online marketing) is exactly as it sounds, a way to market your products or services on the internet.
