2 About Kumulus National resource center for youth policy 2003- 2007 commissioned by the Swedish National Board for Youth Affairs. Mission: develop and create new opportunities for young people to develop through international experiences. EVS as one tool for doing this

4 Kumulus offers youth Information about EVS Function as sending organization Help and support to find EVS projects in Europe Application assistance Flight, train reservations, visa applications Contact during your stay in a foreign country Follow-ups after the project period

5 Kumulus offers organisations Information about EVS Support in getting started as a sending or hosting organization Application assistance Administration of language courses, payment of pocket money etc Continuous meetings with EVS-supervisors to secure the quality of the projects Trainings

10 EVS PROJECT: SKÄLBY 4H FARM IN KALMAR Hosted 5 EVS-volunteers since 2005 Volunteers help out with taking care of the animals, work in the café and arrange activities for children and youth visiting the farm.

11 EVS PROJECT IN EMMABODA: HOUSE OF POSSIBLITIES Hosts 2 volunteers in 2007 (Latvia and France) Volunteers help out in the various activites at the House of Possibilities: environmental station, second-hand shop and at the Youth Centre in the city.

12 EVS PROJECT IN HÖGSBY: CULTURE CENTRE Hosts 3 volunteers in 2007/08 (Germany and France) Volunteers help out with the cultural activities such as music, theatre and dance classes.

13 Start working with EVS? Being a part of European Voluntary Service is an adventure giving young people the exciting opportunity to widen their horizons and develop themselves both on a personal and professional level while at the same being able to enjoy the benefits and security offered by a well established organization.
