1. Year 9 French Trip to Paris Welcome to the Information Evening for Parents The students will leave early Monday 7 th July morning and return on Friday 11 th, early evening.

2. Dates/Times The coach shall be departing hopefully before 7:30 on Monday Morning, so please arrive punctually before 7:00 so we can load the coaches and wave goodbye, as well as discuss the day groups. We shall keep parents updated via the school Twitter however we expect to arrive around 7pm on Friday evening.

3. What you MUST bring: A soft case with suitable clothing (no bare midriffs) A valid passport and European Health Card Any medication you require A packed lunch for Monday’s journey (there’ll be one provided for the way home)

4. Day One We shall be travelling to Paris via Coach Leaving at 8:30am from DGGS Ferry from Dover departing at 10:00am A packed lunch will be eaten at some services Arrive in Paris around 4:30pm We will then go to the Youth Hostel

5. Day Two We shall be visiting the Eiffel Tower We shall explore Paris in the morning A packed lunch will be eaten in the square in front We have booked the trip up the tower for 3:00pm

6. Day Three We shall be visiting the Arc de Triumphe We shall go up the Arc de Triumphe in the morning A packed lunch will be eaten in Bois de Boulogne The girls will have a chance to Shop in the Champs Elysees

7. Day Four We shall be visiting the Lourve A packed lunch will be eaten in the picnic area outside as they will spend all day here The girls will be able to go off by themselves, but have to return for with regular registers They can go in the shop

8. Day Five We shall be travelling back After breakfast we will set off home We will be stopping at service stations every few hours and should arrive at DGGS at around 7pm. Keep in contact with your child along the way via text, email, Twitter, Snapchat or other.
