2 What is a Sentence? A sentence is a any unit of language that communicates an idea. -Very simple -Ex: 2 year old, “Want milk” -Very complex -Ex:“If you do not mind, and it is not too troubling, I would appreciate a glass of milk to quench my thirst.”

3 You try Rearrange the following words into groups that make good sentence sense. 1.Floor the boy sprang lazy to clumsily the 2.Toast Olivia her on French sugar sprinkles. 3.Open graduate eager young the envelope ripped shouted and “More money!”
