2. Adding positive & Negative Integers
Positive + positive = positive
Negative + Negative = Negative

Ex2_ -5 – 11=
-5 (+) +11= +16

3. Instructions on adding negative and positive integers
When adding a negative and a positive you always take the sign from the largest number.

4. Subtracting Negative & Positive Integers
Negative - Positive = Negative

5. Instructions on subtracting positive and negative integers
When subtracting a negative or a positive you always change the subtraction sign to an addition sign and then change the second # to a positive or negative & take the sign that is the largest.
