4  Abuse  Abuse is Never the victims fault!  Lowers the victims self-esteem  Dependency Issues a state in which there is a compulsive or chronic need, as for a drug -  Depression- an all-encompassing low mood accompanied by low self-esteem, and loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities  Eating Disorders  Anorexia is self-starvation  Bulimia is purging usually after over-eating  Suicide Prevention

6  Lack of Social Opportunities  Living Environments  Socio-economic Status - based on income, education, and occupation

7  Air  Air is polluted from aerosol sprays, burning of fuels, and car exhaust  Industry  Land  Water To help reduce waste in the environment, people need to Precycle, Recycle, and Reuse. Precycle = avoiding waste by not using items that generate waste, i.e. buying in bulk to cut down on packaging

8  Criminal Acts  Family Issues  Truancy – excessive absences from school without permission
