14 Present continuous am / is / are + ( v + ing )

15 Present continuous Those verbs are not normally used in the present continuous :- like / love / hate / seem see / hear / smell /taste

16 Past continuous u They were celebrating her wedding. u Nagla was finishing the article when she heard a scream. u They were watching T.Vwhen the telephone rang. u Mary fell asleep while she was reading.

17 Past continuous was / were + ( v + ing)

18 Correct the verbs:- 1-Jane (wait) for me when I arrived. 2-Jack ( be) very nice to me at the moment.I wonder why. 3-She ( feel) well now. 4-The television was on but nobody (watch). 5-Nowadays she(try)to get a promotion.

20 Present perfect u I have already posted the letters u She has just arrived. u They have gone to Italy. u They have been to Italy. u I have studied French for three years. u She has lived here since 1976.

21 Present perfect have & has + P.P.

22 Past perfect u I didn’t know who she was.I had never met her before. u He was nervous because he hadn’t flown before. u I realized that I had made a mistake. u She prepared dinner after she had come back.

26 Simple future u I shall invite my friends to the celebration. u He will join the national team next month. u Sally is going to cook our dinner tonight. u We are going to watch the match

27 Simple future Shall / will + V am / is /are +going to + V

31 Translate into Arabic u Tomorrow’s world depends on what happened in the past or is happening this days. This will enable the scientists to make prediction about the future.They predicted that we will have run out of oil in the next few years.
