2 Authors Review your outline: –Organize/Label your outline into “Introduction, Body and Conclusion” if you have not done so already. –If your outline is expressing a different essay than explained prior, take a few moments to explain your plan on the top of the page.

3 What to do The future questions may be answered in the outline out of order as long as it is labeled to be in a particular order. Review the outline based on the questions provided. Make any comments in complete sentences about their information, whether they are missing information, their information is not detailed enough or the things that are good.

4 Introduction Does it offer his/her general view about science? Does it offer his/her position about the progress of science? (limitations vs. freedoms) Does it have a thesis that incorporates his/her general view, position, and Frankenstein?

5 Body Label each body paragraph with what example it is using.

6 Body (cont.) Does each example have 1 specific quotes from Frankenstein & 1 from a scientific journal? And, is it cited? (i.e. the actual quote or page numbers) Is each quote explained in the context of the text & how it expresses why the example should have limitations or freedoms, depending on his/her position?

7 Conclusion Does it explain his/her view about the future progress of science? Does his/her view reflect his/her position? (i.e. if his/her position was to have limitations, then his/her view of the future of science might be pessimistic)

8 Overall Does he/she have enough information to create a thousand word essay? Would you be able to write a thousand word essay based solely on his/her outline?

9 Revise Review the statements made on your outlines. Add/Modify your outlines in a different color pen directly on your outline or on an attached sheet of paper. Create a 1000 word rough draft based on your outline.
