The local club’s administrative year corresponds with the Kiwanis International year. It begins on October 1 of any year and ends on September 30 of the following year. Though officers are elected in April and May, they assume office the following October 1. Formal induction of new officers is arranged as close to October 1 as possible. The outgoing president is responsible for planning the induction ceremony and celebration. You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.
