Each Research Request typically includes 5 to 7 research units. In total, SBDCNet has placed over 250,000 “big business research studies” in the hands of small business owners.

Total Number of Saved Counselor Work Hours is then divided by 5.5 hours, to yield the More SBDC Clients Served estimate. (Survey data shows an Average Counselor Time Commitment of 5.5 hours per long-term client (most likely to complete SBDC process).

4 SBDCNet Supports Small Businesses Across America 4 SBDCNet Research Requests by State, FY2010 To highlight the operational reach of SBDCNet, this chart only depicts the 4,601 research requests coming from outside the Southwest Texas Border region. SBDCNet completed an additional 1,524 research requests for the SWTB region in FY10.
