5 Tipes HDL, “good cholesterol”, mops up excess cholesterol and brings it to the liver for disposal. LDL, “bad cholesterol”, also has an important job: it transports cholesterol and fat from the liver to the rest of the body Lp(a), can help restore damaged blood vessels in a healthy body. But some people have too much Lp(a), and it can concentrate at the damaged artery sites, leading to plaque buildup. Introduction What it is?
