Place gently on the table and don’t spill food or drink on them Leave them on the table during breaks and at the end of the day Now, let’s discuss how to use your remotes. Handle the remotes with care, when they are not in use place them gently on the table and make sure that you don’t spill food or drinks on them. 7 Communicating With the Instructor
If you have question or comment push the “Call” button Instructor then opens the mic You must hold down the “Push Talk” button and hesitate for a second or two then speak (release when finished) Please use for serious questions or comments only One of the features of your remotes enables you to communicate with the instructor. If you have a question or comment all you have to do is press the “Call” button on your remote. At that point the Instructor will open the mic and say something such as, “Officer Jones (or whatever your last name is) you are on the air and the line is open for you to speak.” In order to speak you must press down and hold the “Push Talk” button the entire time you speak. It works much like a two-way radio in that you must hold down the “Push Talk” button. Also, before you speak, allow for a brief pause then speak and when you are done speaking release the “Push Talk Button”. Please use the microphone feature for serious questions and comments only. (You may test a few remotes at this time if you desire.)

8 Answering Test Questions
Push 1 for True or 2 for False Push for Multiple Choice Pay close attention to all material covered! You must answer within 15 seconds NO helping each other with quiz questions! The main feature of the remotes is to enable you to answer quiz questions. When you see a true or false question, you will simply press “1” on your remote if you believe the statement is true, or “2” if you believe the statement is false. For multiple choice questions you will see a statement and then select either 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on what you believe the correct answer is. Pay close attention to all material covered during today’s training. Anything and everything that I state could end up being a quiz question so make sure you actively listen. When you see a quiz question appear, you will have 15 seconds to answer the question. Absolutely no helping each other with quiz questions. If we see any signs of cheating, it will lead to immediate expulsion!

9 Testing Process 10 questions embedded in each unit

There are 10 questions embedded in each unit. You must score at least a 70% on each unit in order to pass that unit. In other words, you must get at least 7 out of 10 questions correct in each unit in order to pass. If you score below a 70% on any unit, you will only be allowed one additional chance to retake the failed unit. However, if you fail to score at least a 70% on your second attempt, you will be ineligible for hire for a 12 month period.
