5. China China’s Deserts  The Taklimakan covers the northwestern China  The Gobi desert is located in central northern China  Means waterless place

6. Japan Japan’s four main islands are Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu Japan is located on top of two tectonic plats that often sink below a third plate making Japan more likely to have volcanic eruptions and earthquakes
