1 Registering your student athlete

2 Information Counselors meet with students at the end of each year in order to create their schedule for the following school year. Mentioning NCAA each year is important! Counselors will guide your student to take approved courses.

3 Recommendations Freshmen Ask your counselor for a list of approved NCAA courses. Sophomores Register at the beginning of your sophomore year at www.eligibilitycenter.org (takes 15 mins to 1 hour) www.eligibilitycenter.org Costs $65. Fee waivers are available for students on F/R lunch or 21 st Century Scholars Let your counselor know you intend on playing sports in college.

4 Recommendations Juniors Take the SAT and/or ACT at the end of Junior year and submit your test scores to the NCAA using code 9999. Ask your counselor to send your transcript to the Eligibility Center at the end of your Junior year. Seniors Take the SAT and/or ACT again if necessary. After you graduate, as your counselor to upload your final transcript to the NCAA.

5 Division I Core Courses 4 years English 3 years math 2 years natural/physical science 1 year of additional English, math, or science 2 years of social science 4 years of additional courses (any area above or foreign language) 10 Core courses must be completed before start of 7 th semester. These cannot be repeated for GPA improvement to meet eligibility. Also look at SAT/ACT scores and GPA of the 16 Core Courses Core Courses 3 years English 2 years math 2 years natural/physical science 3 years additional English, math, or natural/physical science 2 years of social science 4 years of additional courses (from any area above or foreign language) GPA requirement= 2.0 of Core Courses Test score minimum: SAT 820 or ACT sum score of 68 Division II

7 NAIA The registration fee is $70 Fee waivers are available for students who are eligible for an ACT/SAT waiver and/or on Free or Reduced Lunch Graduating seniors must meet two of the three to be eligible to play an NAIA sport: 2.0 on a 4.0 scale 18 ACT or 860 SAT (Math and Critical reading) Score must be achieved in one sitting Can choose to send scores directly to NAIA Eligibility Center (Code: 9876) Graduate in top 50% of class
