2  DIVISION I Ex: JMU, William and Mary, ODU Athletic Scholarships Available; need to certify through NCAA  DIVISION II Ex: Concord, Glenville, UVA Wise, Shepherd Athletic Scholarships Available; need to certify through NCAA  DIVISION III Ex: Bridgewater, Ferrum, Shenandoah No Athletic Scholarships and do not need to certify through NCAA

9  Freshmen and Sophomores Schedule classes that contribute to your core GPA and work hard! Use summer school to catch up, if you fall behind.  Juniors Make sure you are on track Take SAT’s and/or ACT’sCODE: 9999 Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center  Seniors Retake SAT’s and/or ACT’s, if needed Finalize amateurism certification after April 1 Graduate and submit final transcript!

10  There is absolutely no time to waste on getting your grades straight. Finish the school year strong. Make sure you are enrolled in classes for next year that support your NCAA core GPA and that you are familiar with your eligibility status.  Treat your schoolwork like it is your job!
