5 Introduction  The next few weeks, you and a team mate will RESEARCH kite history, find kite PLANS, USE PAINT to construct a scale drawing, DECORATE your kite, BUILD a kite, and of course TEST your kite outside! A CLASS PRESENTATION is also involved in this project. Don't forget your geometry and “Going Green” skills while building your kite.

6 Task  You will find and research a particular kite plan and then construct that kite following your plan. You will be expected to present to the class and 3 staff members/parents. Drawings will be completed on graph paper or the paint program (go to start and search paint).

9 Prototype Use a small plastic garbage bag to construct a small prototype of your kite prior to making the real thing. This must be approved by me before you start the real construction.

10 FLYING YOUR KITE!!! Flip video of your kite will be done when we fly your kites. This video will uploaded to my web page. Final project will be scored on a rubric. rubric
