Introduction  The next few weeks, you and a team mate will RESEARCH kite history, find kite PLANS, USE PAINT to construct a scale drawing, DECORATE your kite, BUILD a kite, and of course TEST your kite outside! A CLASS PRESENTATION is also involved in this project. Don't forget your geometry and “Going Green” skills while building your kite.

6. Task  You will find and research a particular kite plan and then construct that kite following your plan. You will be expected to present to the class and 3 staff members/parents. Drawings will be completed on graph paper or the paint program (go to start and search paint).

9. Prototype Use a small plastic garbage bag to construct a small prototype of your kite prior to making the real thing. This must be approved by me before you start the real construction.
