2 Introduction OH NO! Ms. Brown, a fourth grade teacher, is sick! She is going to be gone the whole week her class is learning about geometry, and her substitute doesn’t know what to do. How are her students going to learn about shapes, angles, area, perimeter, and transformations.? How are her students going to pass the CRCT? Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion

3 Task Since we are geometry experts, I think we can help out Ms. Brown’s class. In this Webquest you’re going to be a teacher for Ms. Brown’s class. You are going to research more information about geometry topics and come up with ways to tell Ms. Brown’s class about the important geometric figures, angles, and transformations so they will be ready for the CRCT! 4 Process Part 1 1.First, you will be assigned one partner to work with in order to come up with ways to teach Ms. Brown’s class. 2.You and your partner will pick one role to complete in order to help teach Ms. Brown’s Class from the list of roles below. Roles: Polygon Professors: You are responsible for explaining and describing the different types of polygons, and how they are similar and different. You will also research information about the different types of quadrilaterals. Polygon Professors: Angle Analysis: You are responsible for explaining the different types of angles, and how they are similar and different. You will be able to learn about more than just right, obtuse, and acute angles. Angle Analysis: Transformation Teacher: You are responsible for explaining the three different types of transformations. You will research any other transformations there are. Transformation Teacher: *Click on the name of each role to find help with your project.* 3.Once you have decided on a role, click the Process: Part Two box in the bottom right corner to find out what you are going to do. 5 Process Part 2 4.Pick two ways to teach Ms. Brown’s class about the topic assigned to the role you chose. Pick from the product choices below. Pick Two Activities to Complete From the Choice Below o Write a book about your topic. Use the story map to help you plan your story before you begin writing.
