3  Festivities of “Santo António”  In Portugal, the festivity of “Santo António” is very popular and one of the most venerated. It is celebrated on 13 th of June and it attracts many people from various parts of the country.

4 Our town symbolizes the environmental concern which is characteristic of our region. It´s also known for its gastronomy and wonderful landscapes.

5  Our school has opened its doors in 1999 and, right now, it is composed of 23 schools, including primary schools, kindergartens and our school. It is known for the diversity of activities carried out and also for its dynamism.

6  In this school, there are 1158 students, as well as a good variety of vocational courses: gardening; photography; carpentry; mechanical drawing.

10  The Halloween festivity happens every year on the 31st October and it involves the whole school.

11  In this festivity, our students usually sing, dance and also perform different plays linked to this time of the year.

13  Every year, some teachers of our school organise an important activity which involves sport performances, as well as exhibitions and which aims at involving the local community in its festivities, as well as promoting the importance of cultural activities in our life. It´s always a huge success!!!

15  Our students are daily involved in some recycling activities, as well as in the conservation of our surrounding environment.
