2. Author  This book was written by Charles Dickens. He was an author of the 19 th century.

3. Genre  The genre of my book is fiction because it is mostly not a true story. Some may say it is realistic fiction but with the ghosts and thoughts of time travel it is fiction.

4. Characters  There are many characters in the book so far. One is Scrooge a mean soul but the main character. Also Marley he died on a Christmas eve and is not that important so far. There is also Scrooge's nephew who came to his buisness and asked him if he wanted to have dinner with his family on Christmas but Scrooge said, " Ba humbug." The nephew is a little bit important but not that much. There is also scrooges clerk who is I would say the least important character so far. Then there were two gentlemen who asked if Scrooge would donate money and Scrooge rejected the offer. I think that the gentlemen have a little bit of an importance in how things will turn out for Scrooge. There are also the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future and they are important because they help change Scrooge’s personality.

5. Setting  The setting of my story is a poor town with a rich man in the 19th century. That is the setting because it mentions that and the town is poor because Scrooge makes taxes really high. It is in the nineteenth century because it describes what life was like during the nineteenth century.

6. Conflict  The conflict in my book is Man v.s Self. The conflict is Man v.s Self because Scrooge is against Christmas when deep down he is trying to get to like Christmas. Another conflict is Man v.s Society because he is the only one in the town who does not like Christmas.

7. Rising Action  The events in my rising action were when the three ghosts visited Scrooge. The ghost of Christmas past showed everything leading up to the present. The ghost of Christmas present showed everything that was happening right at that time. Then the ghost of Christmas future showed Scrooge’s life after he had died.

8. Climax  The climax of my book was when Scrooge had changed his ways of hating Christmas to being a jolly man. That is the climax because that is the big thing that happens in the book that changes the story line.

9. Falling Action  The events in the falling action of my book was basically good deeds done by Scrooge to help bring up the Christmas spirit and show how much he had change from being not so jolly to jolly.

10. Resolution or Conclusion  The resolution or conclusion in my book was basically when Scrooge went over to Bob Chrachit’s house and stayed there for basically a Christmas meal and brought something himself also.

11. Reflection I would recommend this book to a friend because it is just so interesting and I get so intrigued because there is always something good that will happen. In the beginning it is so, interesting because it says to begin with, “Marley was dead.”
