CCPA is a national and bilingual organization dedicated to the enhancement of the counselling profession in Canada

We promote policies and practices which support the provision of accessible, competent, and accountable counselling services throughout the human lifespan, and in a manner sensitive to the pluralistic nature of society

Membership in CCPA Full member Category A ($150) Master’s degree in counselling or related field Institution needs to be recognized by the AUCC

Student Member ($75) Student presently enrolled in a counselling (or a related field) program at an institution recognized by the AUCC Membership fees are subject to change with notice

Certification - Aim To establish a process and National recognition for the title of Canadian Certified Counsellor To demonstrate to the public our Counsellors’ high level of professionalism To maintain a directory of Canadian Certified Counsellors To promote professional responsibility

Maintaining Certification Annually renew your full membership status with CCPA Pay annual fees of $65 Meet CCPA professional development standards: A minimum of 24 CEU hours *(Continuing Education Unit) related to the field of counselling, within every 3 year period
