Albert Bandura Born December 4, 1925 in Alberta, Canada Received his B.A from the University of British Columbia in Psychology Received his Doctorate from the University of Iowa Began teaching at Stanford where he continues to work today Most famous for his Social Learning Theory which is also known as the Social Cognitive Theory Elected president of the American Psychological Association

Steps for Modeling Attention: Are they paying attention to what is being modeled? Retention: Are they retaining information modeled? Can they recall that information? Reproduction: Can they convert information into appropriate action? Motivation: Do they have incentive?
