CTDP – Do You Qualify? Which option is right for you? Option 1: Knowledge and SkillOption 2: Portfolio-based (60 points) Experience Experience 4 years full-time experience in the learning profession 15 years full-time experience in the learning profession Knowledge Knowledge National Knowledge Exam Tests the practical application of the Competency Framework 3-hour proctored exam 150 multiple-choice questions Educational requirement: Degree, diploma, certificate, credential, continuing education in learning or related discipline Skill Skill Practical skill demonstration in one of: Assessing performance needs Designing learning Facilitating learning o Live skill demo OR o Video submission References Skill requirement, choose from the following: Course material and curriculum CSTD Awards Published material or research Conference presentations, workshops Leadership and volunteer activities References The process typically takes 6 to 12 months to complete.
