8 The Blog vs. Technology X Form two groups (one on each side of the room). One group will describe the technology. The other will describe how the blog differs from that technology. Groups will alternate back and forth between these two tasks. The technologies will become increasingly difficult to describe. Each group has 30 seconds to huddle and come up with their description.

Read over this list of blog ideaslist of blog ideas (same list as your were asked to print from the website) Choose one and reflect upon why it is a good idea, or not a good idea for the K6 classroom, school, parents, teacher, etc... Pair up Share your thoughts within your pair You have 15 minutes to complete this task Be prepared for a follow-up activity

19 Design your Blog Get into groups of three Take all you have learned today and design a blog. Use what is described on the handout to prompt your design.the handout Draw the blog on paper, add descriptions of audience and context.

20 Exit Activity Write on one side of the card what worked well. On the other side of the card write what didn’t work well. Leave your cards at the front as you leave. Remember: Next class is in the LAB, E5006
