(MIR) Student conference and/or parent contact 3. Administrative referral Text Books *They are BRAND NEW!! Keep them safe at home, use for homework and notes and practice tests! Tutorial *Math Help on Tuesdays in room 14 with Mrs. Pogue. Students who have below a 70% in math will be required to come redo quizzes/tests or get missing work done.

7 Teaching Philosophy My goal and deepest desire as a teacher is to take each student where they are at and help them succeed to the very top of where they can be mathematically!! Oh, yeah- and make the process as fun as possible

Classroom supplies!! Students are expected to bring these materials to class everyday. *School Planner *Reading book *A blue or black pen *Sharpened Pencils (at least 2) *highlighters *Red correcting pen/pencil (at least 2)*WB marker *Math Journal –70 page spiral bound notebook. *Math folder- two pocket folder **Consequences for missing materials and any of the classroom 3 R’s rules, will result in a teacher detention or lunch detention depending on severity. Parents will always be notified by phone message or . ** Please let us know if you need supplies to be given to your student because of financial hardship.

We LOVE this class and your kids! They are so great! They ask really good questions!! Middle Level CST students (mid 3’s to low 4’s). Opportunity to really grow math skills and be successful in Algebra next year. Reinforce basic math practices – MM. Word problems, extra HW time and extra question time (leads to higher level understanding). Hands on math games and activities. Use of Chrome book computers. Separate grade book in progress.
