Facts About Social Workers…  Most social workers are employed by private agencies, both not-for-profit and for-profit, including self-employment in their own private practice offices.  Professional social workers provide half the nation’s mental health and therapy services -- more than psychiatrists, psychologists, and other related professionals COMBINED!!!  A social worker is a trained professional who has a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in social work – not simply someone who works in a helping role.

INTERESTED IN OUR MSW PROGRAM?  Minimum Admissions Criteria:  GPA of 3.0 OR GRE Score of 1000+  Application includes a personal statement, transcript, resume, and letters of recommendation  Volunteer or paid experience in human services is highly desirable  Students with a B.S. degree may in the traditional two-year MSW Program – entry date every Fall Semester  Students with a BSW degree enroll in the one- year MSW Program – entry date every Fall, Spring, or Summer Semester  Both part-time and full-time MSW programs are available
