14 George Washington Fun Facts about George Washington: He only went to school until sixth grade. He stayed with his men at Valley Forge, even though he could have had food, shelter, and warmth. Washington lived and is buried in a mansion that is still preserved in Virginia today. It is called Mount Vernon. He hardly ever saw it because was so frequently at battle. George is on the quarter and the dollar bill. He is not smiling in either.

15 George Washington  Washington was in the midst of many savage battles, but he was never hit by a bullet or touched by a sword.
