5. Nuts and Bolts Phone Calls Students are not allowed to make phone calls home during the day. Period.

Nuts and Bolts Homework Nightly: Math assignments (Monday-Thursday) Independent reading (5 nights/week) Weekly: Reading Journal (due by Friday) Quarterly: At least one long-term project Occasionally: Science or SS homework It is your child’s responsibility to keep track of his or her assignments in the book provided.

7. Nuts and Bolts Absences If students are absent without being excused, they can pick up and complete missed work upon returning to school.
