2. WHY EDUCATION? I have always had a passion and love for education and teaching I have been involved in education since I was in high school

4. PROJECTS On Our Way to College! Designed and established this program Ran program for two consecutive years so far On Our Way Barrio Nuevo-New City Ha ve volunteered fro two years Mentor and tutor at risk youth Barrio Nuevo

5. EDUCATION Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education Barrett the Honors College Graduate Currently working on a Masters Degree in Elementary Education

6. EXTRAS Background: -Originally from Bogota, Colombia -Speak Spanish fluently -First generation American

7. FUTURE PLANS While here, I would like to establish an elementary age version of On Our Way to College Once I am done with my Masters Degree, I plan to attend law school and study education law
